About us.
With more than 30 years’ experience in farm buildings and commercial development, and hundreds of satisfied customers, Rapid Project Development is ideally placed to meet the building needs of agricultural, industrial and domestic clients throughout Scotland.
Our Story.
It is now 50 years since Paul Duxbury first came to the North-East to supervise construction work on agricultural units near Huntly, whilst working for his cousin’s building company. It was here that he met his future wife, Roseanne, and decided to stay in the North-east.
The company is now managed by two of his sons, John-Paul and James, who have been working alongside Paul for the last 20 years.
In 2006, Rapid Construction Ltd bought a local steel fabrication firm, and was renamed Forrest Engineering UK. This new venture concentrated mainly on the supply and erection of steel portal framed buildings for the agricultural sector. However due to continued expansion and a wider spectrum of customers, the company soon found that there was a large demand for a supplier who could manage every aspect of a project.
In October of 2008, the company was renamed, to Rapid Project Development, a title which more suitably described the service on offer.
